- Annual Zora Neale Hurston Festival of Arts and Humanities - This festival highlights the life and works of Zora Neale Hurston through theatrical performances, educational programs and a juried art show.

- Silver Spurs Rodeo of Champions - Indoor rodeo in high-tech arena – Daytona 500.
March
- Arnold Palmer Invitational - One of the crown jewels of the PGA tour, the event annually attracts one of the strongest international fields of the season. Proceeds benefit the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women.
April – June
- EPCOT® International Flower & Garden Festival - From elaborate gardens and incredible topiaries to helpful seminars and musical entertainment, the festival offers an array of activities for all green-thumb levels.
May
- Florida Music Festival - Five-day music festival with 15 stages throughout Downtown Orlando, attracts over 27,000 music fans. Grad Night for high school seniors
June
- Since 1991, gay men and lesbians from around the world have converged in and around Orlando, Florida, for a week of events centered around area theme parks and attractions.
July 4
- Fireworks at the Fountain - This Fourth of July celebration in Downtown Orlando at Lake Eola Park ends with a spectacular fireworks display – Coke 400 in Daytona.

- Labor Day Weekend Night of Joy and Rock the Universe - Chart-topping Christian music stars from across the nation highlight the annual two-day concert event.

- Epcot® International Food & Wine Festival - A popular event attracting a diverse audience to sip, sample and savor treasures from some of the world's most famous wineries and chefs.

- Universal® Halloween Horror Nights, Mickey’s Not so Scary Halloween, SeaWorld® Spooktacular, Oktoberfest and Bike Week
November
- The Florida Classic - The nation's largest historically black college and university (HBCU) football game. It pits the Florida A&M University Rattlers against the Bethune-Cookman College Wildcats.

- Orlando Citrus Parade - Now one of the top sports-affiliated parades in the country, the Orlando Citrus Parade features high school and college bands from across the country, as well as its signature citrus floats.
